However, they do work for the most part, but some have problems with AI pathfinding. This is a due to the inability to added required AI markers since the files are compiled making them unreadable. Most player-made maps currently show up incorrectly in the preview box because they have to piggy back off an existing skirmish map's layout and ID to work. SC2 2013Player Created Maps (MOD MAPS)Many people have managed to port maps into skirmish from the campaign which would then be modded with mass points and spawn markers despite the fact that the game developer's have not released any sort of map editor or any other form of assistance. Nonetheless, people have managed to find ways that successfully introduce new maps and units, many of which are from the previous Supreme Commander, into the game. Someone linked to a mod that's supposed to activate the console, but it was on the old gaspowered forums that no longer exist. A modder that goes by ALBINOsnowball (apparently responsible for much of the modding that went on with this game) swears up and down that you can in fact get the cheats to work, but it just isn't happening here. I went Googling and there are several threads in the Steam Community forums of people asking the same question. SUPREME COMMANDER 2 REVAMP MOD UNITS HOW TOI've found no end of pages that tell me how to enable the cheats and console in SC2, and have properly edited the game.prefs file, but no matter what I try I can't get it to work - you're supposed to activate the console with Z and then use the alt+f2 menu, but neither the console nor the menu appear. Play around with units that you really aren't meant to use. ![]() Find out how many light bots it takes to down a Monkeylord. One of the things I like the most in the first SupCom is abusing the unit-placement and copy-paste feature and creating my own little (or not-so-little) battles: a bunch of units here set to me, a bunch of units there set to AI, let them duke it out and see who wins. All I really want to do is the campaign and some skirmish for kicks and giggles. I'm not much of a RTS player either - I never play multiplayer matches because I can't really do the sort of multitasking necessary to do it right. ![]() SUPREME COMMANDER 2 REVAMP MOD UNITS FULLI've already played SupCom1 and SupCom:FA, so I decided to see how the sequel is, knowing full well that it's considered inferior. ![]()
